- Allow the use 6 to 14 tooth pinion gears
- Also serve as cooling plate for motor
What's included:
- 2x Adjustable Motor Mounts
- Installation bolts and nuts
How to install adjustable motor mounts:
Step 1. Drop a 3mm X 30mm long hex head bolt into each of the two long recessed slots on the back side of the motor plate so that the hex heads sit below the plate surface.
Step 2. Holding the assembly by the two long bolts, lower the plate onto the motor. Line up the two countersunk holes with the screw holes.
Step 3. Adjust the pinion to the proper depth.
Step 4. Remove the original dusk cover from the side of the gearbox.
Step 5. Take motor assembly with mounting plate installed and line up long screws with the gearcase. Slowly push the motor through, until the motor plate is up again the gearcase. Secure assembly with 3mm nylock nuts. Leave nuts slightly loose to allow for gear mesh adjustment.
Step 6. Slide the motor back and forward to adjust the gear mesh, leaving a slight air gap between pinion and counter gear and tighten down nylock nuts.
